The Jeff Short Band
(Small Band)

Up to 7 Musicians Playing: 

Piano/Keyboards, Bass Guitar, Drums, Sax-Clarinet-Flute, Trumpet, plus Male & Female Vocalists. 

This Function Band, playing for all occasions, is smaller and more flexible than the Big Band and therefore requires less space to perform in. You can book from a duo, trio, quartet, up to a six or seven piece band depending on your budget.

We play for Public Dances, Private Parties, Weddings, Masonic/Rotary & Royal British Legion Organisations, Social Functions, Dinner Dances, Social Clubs & large or small Charity Events. 

From Ballroom, Latin, Jive & Swing to Rock & Roll, Abba & The Rat Pack -
we play music to suit your occasion. 

This small band is also ideal for 'Strictly Come Dancing Nights' where you require strict tempo dance music for  Ballroom, Latin & Sequence Dancing.

Playing indoors or out (under cover) - the band has its own P.A. System - Lights & Stands - and wears
Black Tie or Colourful Evening Wear. We can also dress in AAF Uniforms for Wartime themed nights if required. Other themed shows include Cockney Nights, 40's - 50's & 60's Nights & Jazz Events.

If you require us to play for a concert rather than dancing, we have our 'Hollywood meets Broadway' show which features the songs and music of artists from the Golden Days of Hollywood Films and Broadway Shows including numbers from the classic American Songbook albums as recorded by Ella Fitzgerald and more recenty Rod Stewart & Michael Buble.

We are also licensed to play recorded dinner music during any meal break or interval (at no extra cost)
or you can book our talented Pianist or Trio to play through your dinner.

Liability Insured through EQUITY. and P.A.T. tested - this band will play anywhere within the UK or abroad.
